In preparation for the Adaptation Futures Conference scheduled for June 18-21 in Cape Town South Africa, START International interacted with Rabiatu (Rabi) Abass on her expectations as a first time participant of a huge international conference.

Rabi, a student researcher with the Institute for Environment and Sanitation Studies (IESS) of the University of Ghana shared what she will be presenting and how her experiences with the Adaptation at Scale in Semi-Arid Regions (ASSAR) project has influenced her career path.
